New to Modern Cloth Nappies?  Or just considering a the change from disposables?

Well let me just say YAY and once you take the plunge you will not regret it!  Do not let the initial outlay cost put you off, there are many ways to get around this and you must remember that despite this outlay you will still end up saving BIG bucks.  Here is a couple of quick pointers:

* Don't be afraid to use traditional flat nappies or prefolds in the first few weeks before your baby reaches small or medium sizes.  These are a cheap option to start with and can be reused for many uses later on, especially the prefolds as these can be used to stuff other pocket nappies.

* MCN hold their re-sale value quite well so if a particular brand isn't working out for you, pass the nappy on to someone else and get some money to make another purchase.

*I've used alot of my nappies purchased for my first child, for my second as well, so I've saved a HUGE amount of money doing this and my penny pinching hubby loves this fact even more!


Are you being told that Modern Cloth Nappies will take up a huge amount of your time with soaking, washing, folding?

Well this simply is a myth and if people tell you this you need to re-educate them with the facts!  There is no need for soaking, simply pop your nappies in a nappy bucket until wash day (rinse all those Krappy nappies first), wash using a small amount of detergent and hang out to dry.  The sun's ultraviolet rays are the best stain remover around so don't be tempted to reach for any nappisan!  It really is that simple check out our Care Instructions  page just to double check :)
